While viewing Lazada's online catalog, I stumbled upon a new tablet O+ 7.3 Active.

What we know so far is that it houses a 7 inch display powered by 1.5GHz Dual-Core Processor with 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD. The device also has 2MP rear and front camera and accordingly has WiFi and Bluetooth. Lastly, it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes in (so far) Grey and Purple. Priced at only ₱ 5,995.00

Now Available: Huawei Mediapad Vogue and Mediapad Link Tablets Philippines

Huawei is on a roll... After launch of Huawei Ascend Mate and Huawei Ascend P6, the tech giant latest tablets is here!-unofficially that is.

The 7inch Mediapad Vogue and the 10 inch Mediapad Link are Tablets with Phone Capabilities. These two devices share the same hardware and runs on Jellybean with Huawei's home-brew K3V2 Quad-Core chip coupled with 1GB RAM. Phone storage for Vogue is at 8GB while you can choose 8/16/32GB for Link. Equipped with just basic 3.15MP Rear and VGA front Camera and the usual connectivity of WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Both support USB OTG but NO HDMI nor MHL for TV-out here. Anyways, with battery life Vogue gets 4100 mAh and Link is at 6600 mAh.

There is no notable unique features, more or less Huawei provided us with just the basic tablet necessities plus telephony. Big or Small screen.... We have here alternatives or options. However ordinary as it is we are certain that Huawei being a world leader in the industry we are ensured of quality and support.

Lets start with Lenovo Ideatab A1000, it sports a 7 inch TFT at 600 x 1024 resolution with 170 ppi. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean powered by 1.2GHz Dual-Core MediaTek MT8317T  Processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD. Only has VGA front camera for skype / video chat and your basic connectivity as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Battery at 3500 mAh would last you a day or two.

The Lenovo A3000 has similar display qualities as the A1000 but it is IPS for better viewing angles. Not only in the display but also almost same innards. On a plus point the A3000 has a Quad-Core Processor as well as storage can be expanded to 64GB via microSD. The tablet has a rear 5MP autofocus camera aside from the VGA Front. It does have the same 3500 mAh battery pack but with its quad core the A1000 would likely give more juice.

It said to have a 7 inch HD Capacitive Display powered by a 1.2GHZ (Single core?, 512 RAM?, 4GB Internal Memory?), Micro-sd and will sport a rear camera (2MP?) and front (VGA?) and is WIFI enabled. Packaging would include MicroUSB Cables, USB OTG Cable (capable), Earphones, a Manual and Warranty Card. It is priced at 2,999 and is "just released". No full specs available as of the moment. Lets just wait and see.

Asus Memo Pad HD7, Price Popping

Well it is to say "Tablet Galore" at Computex 2013 would be an understatement. Anyways here is yet another tablet by Asus an HD update on their Memo Pad. This Identical twin of Nexus 7 has a Quad-core A7 CPU on board and 7-inch 1280 x 800 HD IPS display with a 5MP rear camera and 1.2 MP front. It will be launched in vibrant colors that pops as well as at an eye-popping price of $129 (8GB) -149 (16GB). No word on the release dates, hopefully it arrives soon or whether it will arrive in the Philippine Market.

***Update it will be release in the UK in August. Since we are just an island away it should arrive sooner than latter.
