Asus Next Generation Zenfone 5z, 5, Max Pro M1 for MWC 2018

Asus is said to release sets of new generation of Zenfone 5 Series scheduled for MWC 2018! There will be  "Ultimate Luxury", "Premier Luxury" and "Empowering Luxury for Everyone".

For Ultimate Luxury, Asus will offer the Zenfone 5z! which is their high end offering. Said to carry Snapdragon 845. Asus Zenfone 5 Base Model will be "Premier Luxury" with a Snapdragon 636 Processor. "Empowering Luxury for Everyone" with Zenfone Max Pro (M1) is their budget offering.

Well if we include other leak, seems there will also be ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite ZC600KL (X017DA). Rumored to have 18:9  (FHD me thinks) Display that is powered by Snapdragon 660 and 4GB RAM running Android  Oreo 8.0. For its camera, Asus said to have equipped it with Dual Rear with 20MP Standard+8mp?(Wide Angle) and Dual Front Camera 16MP+ 8MP?(Wide Angle) Setup.

If we base on this, Zenfone 5z will be release by June. Zefone 5 and Zenfone Max Pro (M1) in March which should be after its announcement at MWC 2018.

Here is my take on it.

Zenfone 5Z might be the "Zenfone 5 with lip" or to say the iPhone X Not. haha With its notch and its design including the Type-C port, leading me to decide it has all the advance feature to be the Next flagship.

Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5 Lite will be deal breaking smartphones that will offer Bang-for-the-Buck Qualities. @evleaks has shared some product photos and by the looks of it, Asus is keen on getting things right.

Zenfone Max Pro (M1) will offer 18:9 Display matched with Snapdragon 430 with 4GB RAM. Dual Rear Camera Setup with a high resolution front camera plus big battery at 4000 or 5000mAh.

Well February 27 is just around the bend. Asus will officially make the announcement at MWC 2018. Till then! All this is still rumor until official release.

Rumor Has It: Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 and Galaxy J7 2017?

Samsung J5 2017 and J7 2017 Leaks ahead of launch!

Samsung J series has been most popular for Samsung budget line up. Now seems J5 2017 and J7 2017 will delivery updated specs.

From metal frame to full metal body accented with antenna lines. Camera seen to have been redesigned to compliment circular aesthetics. 

Both said to packed an unnamed Octa-Core Processor. For Memory and Storage setup, Galaxy J5 2017 at 2GB RAM and 16GB Internal Setup while Galaxy J7 2017 at 3GB and 16GB Internal Storage.

Camera is said to upgraded at 13MP but with an aperture size of f/1.7 to give better low light shots and shallow depth of field. High resolution front cameras at 13MP at f/1.9 aperture plus LED Flash compared to 5MP of the old models.

Said to feature better connectivity with support for LTE Cat 6 for faster internet connection on the Go. Fingerprint sensor is another said change.

As for Battery, Galaxy J5 carries a 3000mAh and Galaxy J7 2017 will have 3600mAh.

The Galaxy J7 (2017) and Galaxy J5 (2017) are expected to be priced at 339 euro (19K Pesos) and 279 (15K) euro respectively. Still unofficial so so take it with a grain of salt and lets wait for signs for Philippine Market.

Rumor Has It: Is this the new Flash 3 Smartphone?

Flash has been quiet for some time but apparently they are preparing something set to be release for the Christmas Season.

Our friends from GizGuide got some info and leaks and is said that Flash would set to unleash their new Flash 3 with 4 Cameras (2 x 13MP Rear, 8MP 5MP Front) as well as sporting 5.5 inch Full HD Display, Helio X20 Processor, 3GB RAM.

There was said leak benchmark of Flash 3 via GFXbench.com which seems to corroborate the new rumors. As per benchmark, it said to carry X20 Mediatek MT6797 Deca-Core Processor with Mali-T880 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB Internal Storage. Rear Camera is just 13MP though but Front Camera seems to be the Dual Camera setup with 5MP and 8MP.

Doing some digging the picture resembles of that of a TCL smartphone TCL 598. Sports the Quad Camera setup (13MP + 13MP Rear Camera; 8MP + 5MP Front Camera) and 5.5 inch Full HD IPS Display powered by Mediatek Helio X20 although this one has 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal storage. Has Fingerprint Sensor and carries battery at 3030mAh. Comes in Champagne Gold and Dark Grey.

With all info cropping out, we are just missing bits and pieces to get full feature of the phone.

Here is my take on this, Flash may introduce two variants in the market with 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB Models just like they did on Flash Plus 2. With Quad Camera setup, this would be fitting to be the successor of mobigraph-centric Flash 2. I am curious what photography tricks this device would feature. Guessing it will be like that of Huawei P9 with depth of field mode and hopefully full manual camera controls. What you think?

We found that there were reports, Alcatel Flash Plus 2 shows up via gfxbench. Per GFXBench, it details that Flash Plus 2 is said to carry a 4.6 inch Full HD Display powered by Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755BM coupled by 2GB RAM and 16GB (10GB usable?) internal storage. Camera features 13MP rear and 8MP Front. No details of connectivity but since its Helio we assume it will have regular set with LTE cellular data. Runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

GFXBench - Alcatel Flash Plus 2

Look what we have here a render of new product, Flash Plus 2... Looking up close it really does sport metal and glass and I can also see antenna lines running on top and bottom. Right side Power / Lock buttons and Volume Rocker. A Physical home button is also there so will the new Flash Plus 2 have fingerprint sensor?

Per Source 2 article, it is said that the new Flash Plus will carry the same 5.5 inch Display but will come in aluminum frame and will carry a fingerprint sensor.

Per Yugatech Exclusive Article, it is said to have 5.5 inch Full HD, 13MP Rear and 5MP Front Camera Combo, 3000mAh Non-Removable battery. There will be two variants 2GB RAM / 16GB Storage or 3GB / 32GB Storage.  Here is another render of Flash Plus 2.

Price Predications... it should follow its pricing but i anticipate that 3GB/32GB model will cost 8,490 and 2GB/16GB Model will be 6,990.

Let's see what Flash has in store for us. Will there be truth to the leaks? Fingerprint check... Helio P10 check... lets find out on May 17!

RumorHasIt: Blackberry Z5 Q5 and A10

Rumors flying on Blackberry Z5, Q5 and A10. It is said that Blackberry will introduce low-end BB10 handsets such as the Z5 and Q5. These devices will sport the same screen like their high end counterparts Z10 and Q10 at 4.2 inch screen 768 x 1280 resolution and 3.1 inch screen with 720 x 720 resolution. Other hardware details are not yet available as of the moment but here is a leaked photos of the Z5.

Another device is the Blackberry A10 code name Aristo is describe as "one high end QWERTY equipped device"  with Z10's screen. - A slider? Reportedly due in November.
