Microsoft introduces yet another affordable smartphone in the form of Lumia 540 Dual Sim.
The New Lumia comes in slew colorful back covers. It features a 5 inch HD IPS LCD Display that equates to 294ppi which should give you quality decent viewing.
Inside, is Snapdragon 200 Quad-Core Processor clocked at 1.2Ghz with Adreno 302 Graphics supported by 1GB RAM and 8GB Internal Storage. An expandable microSD slot is available if you need more storage. Cloud Storage is provided with 15GB via OneDrive.
As for connectivity, the standard options are available like WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Data connection through 3G or HSPA+ to get you on the go internet access. It is a Dual SIM / Dual Standby device that supports multiple network choices.
Camera-wise the Lumia 540 boast 8MP primary rear camera with LED Flash and a very selfie-centric 5MP Front.
Battery is at 2200mAh and is removable.
Out of the box it runs Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2 with Lumia Denim and is upgradeable to Windows 10.
It has been officially announced for Philippine Market and will retail for 7,990. Seems steep for just a Snapdragon 200 device.

Found a model unit. It has Asha-like aesthetics with its laminated protected back cover. Upfront it looks like Lumia 535 as you can clearly see in the picture below.
