45 squads out of over 300 squads proved their worth to a spot in the playoffs for country's biggest Rules of Survival tournament that happened in Mineski Infinity Taft, Cubao, and Morayta.  As the excitement rises, fans and game enthusiasts can also join the fun by watching it live via Nimo TV.

Squads’ ranking quickly shifted as some of the teams leveled up their strategy to secure a high score in the first round of the playoffs. Team Savage.ROX of Mineski Infinity Taft and Team Comeback of Mineski Infinity Morayta both finished 1st from a 9th place finish during the eliminations, while Team Youngblood of Mineski Infinity Cubao remained undefeated.

The 45 teams will push their quest in safeguarding a spot for the Rules of Survival Philippine Champions League S1 finals and a chance to represent the Philippines for Southeast Asia tournament.

MET brings League of Legends to Globe PPGL 2018 Season 2

The Second Season of the Globe Philippine Pro Gaming League 2018 is here and Nation's Biggest Multi-platform eSports League gets more exciting as MET, Asia’s leading esports event organizer, is adding League of Legends to the mix of game titles. Teams will compete over two (2) Online Qualifiers with the top two teams from each qualifier advancing to the National Qualifiers.

The Globe PPGL 2018 Season 2 League of Legends tournament is set on June 13, 2018 to June 16, 2018 to kick off with the 1st Registration for the Online Qualifiers. All interested League of Legends players and teams who believe they have what it takes to challenge the best teams in the country are welcome to compete. 2nd Registration is dated on June 27 -30. 1st Online Qualifiers will happen on June 22-24 while 2nd Online Qualifiers is on July 6-8, 2018.

The Overall Champion of the Globe PPGL 2018 Season 2 League of Legends tournament will earn the right to fight against the best teams in Southeast Asia. The Globe Conquerors Manila 2018, which is set to take place at the Mall of Asia Arena, will serve as the SEA qualifier for the 2018 League of Legends World Championship.
