Nimo TV lauds Project Lupon for successful coverage of WESG

Project Lupon gets high praises from Nimo TV for their intense coverage of the World Electronic Sports Games from March 7 to 17, 2019. 


The all-star broadcast team headed by Kuya Nic gave a blow-by-blow action of the tournament and gave to some of its lucky subscribers in-game items, steam wallets and bundles of 7 packs.

The WESG currently holds the highest prize pool of USD 5.5 Million across multiple titles and participated by teams from around the globe.

Team Windigo of Bulgaria claimed supremacy for the finals of CS:GO defeating AGO Esports of Poland. Canadian player Ryan ”Purple” Murphy –Root was also successful in claiming victory after defeating He “山下智久” Chenyung of Chinese Taipei for the Final match of Hearthstone. Lee “INnoVation” Shin-Hyung of South Korea was also successful in the main StarCraft II trophy against Finland’s Joona “Serral” Sotala. Tribe Gaming from the US defeated the Korean’s Team ACE with a 2-0 score in the Grand Finals of Vainglory. Ettore “Suprema_Ettorito” Giannuzzi of Italy redeemed the championship of PES Grand Finals after crushing Brazilian’s representative Alemao Pesbr in the final match. TNC Predator of the Philippines has prevailed over Keen Gaming of China in the Dota 2 Grand Finals and winning almost every game from eliminations to finals.

Aside from the bragging rights and honor for their country, winners also took home some cash prizes. Team Windigo and TNC Predator both took home USD 500,000. Lee “INnoVation” Shin-Hyung seized USD 150,000, Ryan ”Purple” Murphy –Root with USD 100,000, Tribe Gaming with USD 60,000 and Ettore “Suprema_Ettorito” Giannuzzi with USD 30,000.

Project Lupon to Spearhead WESG 2019 Broadcast via Nimo TV

Nimo TV recently announced its partnership with AliSports as Broadcasting Partners for the World Electronic Sports Games 2019 happening in Chongqing, China.


36 Teams coming from around the Globe will compete for the Finals to win the highest prize pool of $5.5 million across multiple titles. 6 Teams from the Americas, 11 Teams from Europe, 13 Teams from the Asia Pacific, 2 Teams from Africa and 4 Invited Teams will battle it out and claim supremacy.  Alongside the main competition, 8 all female teams will also be participating at the final event. The all-female teams are from the Americas and Europe with both 2 Teams and the Asia Pacific with 4 Teams.

Nimo TV tapped Project Lupon headed by Nico Nazario or KuyaNic to broadcast the said tournament from March 7 – 11 from 11 AM onwards to provide quality and exciting content to its NimoTV viewers.


Dota 2 fans should be look forward to it as KuyaNic, Alo, Kyle, Alech and Lai will be live and provide a blow-by-blow update of the tournament.  TheBigMac, ExcelSor PH, Lia, and Cara Cute will join the HearthStone community. While Iliustrado, Sneakyfrog, Nomad, and Asurai will join its Counterstrike fans in discovering the next global champion.

Project Lupon by KuyaNic Nazario with NimoTV

Project Lupon a new media entity for gamers focusing on event coverage, gaming-related content and streaming support for both local and international market. The project's mastermind is  Nico Nazario or KuyaNic.

From Marketer to Caster

Unlike other casters, KuyaNic ‘s story on how he transitioned in becoming a streamer was an accident. “I wasn’t the one who originally shoutcast for WomboXCombo. Thing though is that my caster had an emergency and cannot stay with me in the studio just outside Manila.” he narrates. “I started to love the process and was looking forward to what better thing I can showcase the next day” KuyaNic added.

Giving up his regular job was not an easy decision, working from one of the pillars of Philippine esports can be rewarding but KuyaNic’s hunger to improve on things prevailed. “I am a very passionate and competitive worker. My mindset was, there’s always something better to be done” he recounted.

15 Squads for the Final Round of the Biggest Rules of Survival Tournament in the Philippines by Nimo TV

Manila, Philippines –  Fifteen squads are set to claim supremacy in the Rules of Survival – Nimo TV- Philippine Champions League Season 1 after weeks of exciting playoffs happened in 3 venues.



With over 300 squads who tried their luck during the qualifiers and 45 squads who advanced in the dreaded playoffs, 15 squads are set to face each other in the final round of the biggest Rules of Survival Tournament in the Philippines this Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Mineski Infinity Taft.

 “We are delighted in the turnout of our first event in the Philippines, and we are excited to know who will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Rules of Survival Southeast Asia Tournament” Henry Zhao, Overseas Executive.

The 15 squads who will compete this weekend are the following: Bakunawa B, Savage.ROX, Savage Gaming and Bakunawa A of Mineski Infinity Taft; Kudos Gaming, CLG, Comeback <3, Evo Groundz and Team Marshall of Mineski Infinity Morayta and Representing Mineski Infinity Cubao is Young Blood, Sealteam Peenoise, Chupon Gaming, XO-ideas, and Cheater Slayer Nambawaa; completing the line up is the crowd favorite Team Mix of Mineski Infinity Cubao.

Php 100,000 for the 1st Prize, Php 80,000 for 2nd Prize and Php 50,000 for 3rd Prize for the Winners of the tournament. Aside from the Cash Prizes and in-game items, the Top 5 teams will also represent the country in the Rules of Survival Southeast Asia tournament.

Philippine Champions League Playoffs at Your Fingertips with Nimo TV

Manila, Philippines – Nimo TV continues to provide exciting exclusive content as the Rules of Survival – Nimo TV Philippine Champions League S1 playoffs began streaming last December 1 and 2, 2018.

Squads’ ranking quickly shifted as some of the teams leveled up their strategy to secure a high score in the first round of the playoffs. Team Savage.ROX of Mineski Infinity Taft and Team Comeback of Mineski Infinity Morayta both finished 1st from a 9th place finish during the eliminations, while Team Youngblood of Mineski Infinity Cubao remained undefeated.

The 45 teams will push their quest in safeguarding a spot for the Rules of Survival Philippine Champions League S1 finals and a chance to represent the Philippines for Southeast Asia tournament.

45 Squads Advance for The Rules of Survival - NIMO TV- Philippine Champions League Qualifiers

Manila, Philippines – 45 Teams advances to the Playoffs of the biggest Rules of Survival Tournament in the country hosted by NIMO TV out of the overwhelming squads who joined.


With over 300 squads showed up to prove their worth and secure a slot in the playoffs. The 2-Day qualifiers happened in 3 venues around the Metro.

“The qualifier brought out the best among the best this is just a preview of what will happen in the coming playoffs and finals“ Henry Zhao, NIMO TV Overseas Executive.  “We want to discover squads who have the grit to compete on a professional level, “ Zhao added.


A price pool of  Php 100,000 for the 1st Prize, Php 80,000 for 2nd Prize and Php 50,000 for 3rd Prize for Winners of the Rules of Survival - NIMO TV- Philippine Champions League. Other than the Cash Prizes and in-games items, the Top 5 teams will also represent the country in the Rules of Survival Southeast Asia tournament!

The 15 qualified squads of each venue will compete in the playoffs this December 1 & 2, 2018. The top 4 squads per branch will move to the finals together with the top 2 squads of the whole tournament. The crowd favorite will also earn a slot and will complete the 15 squads who will compete in the finals.
