Lenovo Unleashes Legion Gaming Lineup Price Specs Philippines

With the rise of popularity of Gaming Sports, Lenovo is keen to sway hardcore gamers with their Legion line.

Lenovo organized a two-day gaming convention that happened last weekend Jan 28-29 held at SM North Edsa Annex Activity Center  that allowed avid gamers to play League of Legends (LoL), one of most popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena Games by Garena in Southeast Asia.

Battling for dominance will be 12 teams from participating schools: De La Salle University, DLSU-College of Saint Benilde, Adamson University, National University, AMA University - Quezon City Campus, University of the Philippines - Diliman, Far Eastern University and among others.

Gamers were also given a chance to face-off against celebrities such as Kristoffer Martin, Jack Reid, Ashley Gosiengfiao, Alex Diaz and Jerome Ponce. Radio DJs, Nikko Ramos and Joyce Pring played host for Legion by Lenovo Event.

Nokia 6 Quick Look Price Specs Philippines

Look what we have here... Nokia 6! Lets have a quick look, shall we?

At last... That Android Dream. Nokia on Android. Nokia 6

Lets unbox this baby. We find ourselves with Nokia signature simplistic packaging with a photo of holding hands - typically depicting their Motto "Connecting People." Opening the Box, we see the unit, manuals including ejector pin, and a box filled with the charger, data cable and headset.


Nokia 6 looks grand and looks like it took design ques from older nokia devices with blockish form of that of lumia 830 but more edgier champers. The back comes with black with protruding camera and led flash. Top houses the headphone jack while on the bottom lies the speaker and microUSB port. Right side, you will find the volume rocker and power / lock button. The sim card / micro sd hybrid slot lies on the left. It construction is flawless accented with antenna. We did a drop test (Video Soon Uploading...) and it survive a 5 ft fall. hahaha

Up front lies a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS Display with 2.5D Curved Corning Gorilla Glass. Not as bright and with Nokia blue iconography seems like it is on the cold side of things.

Powering the device is Snapdragon 430 with Adreno 505 GPU coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage. You can expand storage via hybrid slot although you need to sacrifice dual sim feature. We ran Antutu Benchmark and it delivered nearly 45K mark. Nokia 6 performed very well with no lags and apps launch quickly and properly.

Nokia 6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Nokia twist to it. No App drawer here, with round iconography. Settings has been organize with icons and labels but also shows details of particular settings like percentage of battery, amount of memory and storage and the like. I can it find it useful as I can see the settings without going through them one by one. Oh since this is from grey market, sadly no playstore.

It 16MP Rear camera has good dynamic range where you can see details of hightlights and shadows as well as enough sharpness and contrast. Coming from a Lumia user, it is not of pureview or zeiss level but it can deliver good photos. Although as of present time, it has no professional or manual modes. However we tested Manual Compatibility test and it does support so you may install third party apps to unlock its camera potential even more.

As you can see, it takes good photos with on spot colors and has the amount of processing. You could see minute details even those things in the shadows.

This photo of the rag shows the focusing skill of Nokia 6. It focus well and shows clearly the intricacies of the threads.

Front Camera is decent too. Look here, My Selfie. You could see my white strands of hair meaning to say it can capture details even my pimples. Colors are on point and can capture text properly.

Camera UI is basic. It has only three modes Auto, Touch up,and Panorama. There is HDR and you can set it to HDR Auto, On or Off. Oh by the way, before taking photos be sure set your aspect ratio to 4:3 16MP for rear and 4:3 8MP for front as by default it is set at 16:9 at lesser MP so that you could maximize it camera capabilities.

We have tried out its connectivity and we were impress. Comparedd to any Android we tries, it connects fast whether WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS maybe and USB OTG. It can detect fast as well as reject or unmount faster too. Transfers via wireless are wickedly smooth without hiccups. As expected from Nokia - Connecting people. Wireless casting is also supported.

Oh has complete sets of sensors including gyroscope that will enable you to use Virtual Reality (VR) Apps and Augmented Reality Games (AR).

We have not tried battery as we ran out of time to charge and drain it. So until we get to take home the review unit. Just stand by and we will get back at you to finish this review off.

Don't be fooled by its size, it packs power for its size. We played it in the living room and woah it surely didn't disappoint as our neighbors came knocking on our doorsetps haha. Although, sound quality is not amazing and it does lack that umpphh (bass). Few distortions at high tones and volumes.

Connectivity is simple. Power it up by pressing the On button located at the bottom of the speakers at least 3 secs. Activate the bluetooth of your device or smartphone, search and select X-mini Click. LED Light will stop flashing once your X-Mini Click is paired. Wireless range is 10 meters 33 feet but for open space that is as when you are in between a wall, the sound gets fuzzy.

the On Button is also known as Click Button. When your X-Mini is paired with your smartphone, you can play music, answer calls and use it as remote shutter with your smartphone camera. Neat right!

X-Mini Click is such a cute wireless speakers. Small it may be but it can deliver load sound. Has few tricks too that you did'nt expect coming from this tiny guy. It is a great portable speaker to play your tunes and watch movies but don't expect so great audio quality.

MyKronoz ZeFit2 Pulse Smartwatch Review Specs Price Philippines

Here is our review of new MyKronoz  ZeFit2 Pulse Smartwatch.

ZeFit2 Pulse is IP67 water and Dust resistant smartwatch that comes with a adjustable wristband and a .9 TFT 160x80 pixel Colored Touchscreen. At its back is its magnetic sockets as well as heart rate sensor.  Wristband should fit at a max of 9 inches wrist size and minimum of 5 inches.

You need to set things up first by downloading ZeFit2 App onto your mobile device and turn on its Bluetooth. You really need to sign up or log in to your My Kronoz account to be able to access the app and enter your profile details. Upon accessing the app, pair your MyKronoz ZeFit 2 Pulse to your smartphone. You will be notified by the watch to sync it to your phone. Once paired, you wil be able to view your activity log, goals, reminders, and settings.

ZeFit2 App is simple to understand. Activity tab shows your daily activity from Heart rate, Steps, Distance traveled, Calories burn and hours of sleep. With the app, you could set your goal targets as well as set reminders. You can customize also the digital face of the ZeFit2 Pulse to view time, date, battery vertical or horizontal. You can also set to show notifcation of your calls, txt, emails and social media as well as Anti-lost feature so you can detect if your watch is not with you.

Alcatel Pixi 4 5 LTE Review Price Specs Philippines

Here we have the Alcatel Pixi 4 5 LTE! Budget Smartphone with LTE.

Made of polycarbonate plastic construction that curves at the back with matte texture that provides good grip. Aesthetic wise, it is direct to the point a slab. You do have capacitive keys on the front to navigate the device.

It houses a 5 inch TFT Display but at a low resolution FWVGA 480 x 854. Well it is not visually appealing but it won't drain your battery.

Powering the device is a Mediatek MT6735 Quad-Core Processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB Internal Storage. As expected from any entry level device. If you are into benchmarks, its Antutu score is at 22,707 mark.

Alcatel Pixi 4 5 LTE has a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash. What we discovered is that it is Fixed Focus and looks like interpolation magic has been made. Same goes with the 5MP Front Camera. Outputs are just bland as it comes of grainy and lacks detail and of course focus.

More of connectivity smartphone, it packs the regular - WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and supports LTE on both sim slots. Yet USB-OTG is not supported.

Carries a 2000mAh battery but it does last longer even in data and tethering mode for up to 7hrs. Guess low consumption wares has its benefits for battery life.

Overall, just your entry grade level LTE smartphone here. Priced for 4,499 Pesos
