Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 arrives early than announced (supposedly Jan 28, 2017)!
The new Galaxy A 2017 Series gets flagship design with metallic frame and 3D glass as well as IP68 certification resistance to water and dust. At the top lies the dual sim card slot while at the bottom, you will find the 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C Port. Left side is the Volume rocker as well as microSD slot and on the right side lies the power button and (seems lost) speakers.
The Galaxy A7 2017 is the more phablet size 5.7 incher with Full HD Super AMOLED Display that is great for watching movies and playing games.
Powering the device is Samsung's Eynos 7880 Octa-Core chipset which now comes with upgraded Mali-T830 GPU coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Storage. Finally, it seems Samsung came to their senses and made a dedicated slot for storage expansion and NOT apply hybrid slot.
Now comes with better optics whether at the front or back as both ends are at 16MP at f/1.9 aperture. This should give you high definition captures and videos including better detailed selfies even in lowlight. OIS keeps things steady when you are doing your video recordings. Rear camera is supported with LED Flash. Camera produce sharp, vibrant and better dynamic range. With higher resolution front, selfies are so detailed even pores can be seen. Oh if you are wondering it uses Samsung S5K3P8 Sensor for both rear and front which is also used by OnePlus 3T.
Comes with complete set of connectivity feature such as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. To make things, future proof the A Series smartphones comes with USB Type-C for faster data transfer, charging and support for new connectivity. Screen Casting is now supported tagged as "Smart View" Feature. NFC is also supported with Samsung Pay being introduced.
Though it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow but for sure Nougat update is just around the bend. Samsung TouchWiz UI has been updated. Game Mode has now been integrated into the system. Samsung Pay has also been added.
