Lumia 435 looks simple bar type with squarish corners and curved back. Upfront is its 4 inch WVGA LCD Display, pretty much basic visuals. The smartphone also feature modest specifications with processing handled by only Dual-Core Snapdragon 200 processor but will be have sufficient RAM with 1GB and Internal Storage at 8GB. WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5G / HSPA makes up its connectivity. For its camera, you get low resolution fixed focus with only 2MP main rear camera and VGA for front-facing. Lumia 435 is said to have 21 days standby time, up to 20.9 hours talk time, music playback time 64 hours, video playback 6.6 hours and Wi-Fi network browsing of 9.4 hours with its 1560mAh Battery.
On software side, it runs Windows Phone 8.1 and will be upgradeable to Windows 10. Since this is a Lumia it would also have Lumia exclusive apps including plus version of Here Drive.
Microsoft seems to test the waters with this one as they target on the basic side of things and making all apps available for consumer although cutting back on processor and camera. It's major competition is Lumia 530 and other offering from local brands for which at the same price range have quad core processor and high resolution cameras albeit having only 512MB RAM. Will App availability be important than processor and camera? So what you think?
