Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum: HD and USB OTG ready

We got a glimpse of Cherry Mobile Spectrum from leaked photos giving us basic specification. Now we have photos of actual unit as well as benchmarks.

The device packs 5 inch HD (1280 × 720 pixels) Display with a Dragontrail Glass Protection. I must note that on the front it just says HD LCD only but on their promotional banner it says IPS (will get an update on this).

Moving on, at its heart is a Broadcom BC23550 Quad-Core Processor which means Videocore IV HW for its graphic card. To compliment its SOC, comes a 4GB internal storage and 1GB RAM. See Benchmark for reference.

In terms of carmera features, it packs a 8MP primary snapper with LED Flash and for its camera it has a 2MP (well its 2 when you round off 1.9MP)

WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and HSPA+ is on board so connectivity is covered. Another plus is the USB OTG that will supporting hosting USB devices. It's also Miracast ready so extending your screen towards another supported display. Battery is at 2000mAh.

To wrap up, the Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum brings a lot to the table with a better display together with the basic connectivity and decent camera features at only 4,999.00. Broadcom chips also played its part with Quad-Core and OTG at entry level prices. Mediatek should be worried.
