Spotted: Lenovo ThinkPad 8

Debuted this CES 2014, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 appears with matching price tag.

Sporting a 8.3 inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) Display powered by relatively updated 2.4GHz Intel Z3770 Quad-Core Bay-Trail chip with Intel HD Graphics coupled with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB EMMC for Internal Storage. Hardware is just slightly above its competitors especially with SOC.

On the camera side, it packs a 8MP rear supported by LED Flash and 2MP Snapper up front. Both cameras records Full HD. The device also comes with Dual digital array microphones with echo cancellation and Stereo with Sound Retrieval System (SRS). Micro USB 3.0, Micro SD Slot, Micro HDMI and audio combo ports are able.

So far this one runs Windows 8.1 32 bit and comes with MS Office Home and Student 2013.

Overall, this would be a great portable device with Full Windows on it (Yes, it can run Full Core Applications -selected- like your Desktop). It also offers a better display with WUXVGA compared to Acer W4 and Asus T100. So far so good but...

$399/$429 is the announced price which should translate to 17-19K Pesos. However this is not the case for as according to what's posted its 26,000.00 PHP!!! Yikes. Too bad so much potential but seems too pricey compared to what Acer and Asus is offering.
