Lenovo Tab 4 7 inch budget tablet is now out!

Lenovo Tab 4 sports a 7 inch WSVG (1024 x 600 px) IPS Display housed in a slim and light profile at 0.35" / 8.8mm thick and 0.56 lbs / 254 grams with textured back.

Powering the device is a Mediatek MT8167D which is apparently new in the market. It is matched with 1GB RAM and 16GB Internal Storage. Graphics is handled by PowerVR GE8300. Storage can be expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB.

The tablet has the necessary connections like WiFi and Bluetooth. Direct connection via MicroUSB. 3.5mm Audio Jack for sound as well as Front-Facing speakers.

Just basic low resolution here for photos and video at 2MP rear and front camera.

Carries a 3450 mAh Li-ion Polymer which should give enough battery life.

Infinix Note 3 Pro Full Review Philippines Specs Price

We finally get to review the latest Phablet from Infinix - Note 3 Pro.

We are welcomed with a rather long simple box with the Note 3 Pro's specs enumerated at the back. Opening the box, we are greeted with the unit, envelop containing manual, warranty card and pin, charger, data cable and in-ear headset. See our quick unboxing...

Infinix Note 3 Pro upfront reminds us of the old Note 2 with its large display and size. Built quality is superb with combination of metal for the body and top and bottom polycarbonate plastic guess for signal purposes. Top part lies only the headphone jack while bottom part is home to mic, microUSB port, and speaker grill. The Right side houses dedicated microSD slot together with the power/lock button and volume rocker. Dual Micro Sim slot is located on the left side of the device. At the back is the camera with dual led flash and the fingerprint sensor.

Infinix Note 3 Pro houses a 6 inch 1080p FHD IPS Display with 480 dpi. Icons are large enough and display is bright but need to turn on high settings in very sunlit environment. With its screen size, the smartphone is best for watching movies, videos and playing games as you have more usable screen. Miravision Technology is present to enhance picture quality. Navigation is through screen keys for home, back and apps.

Looking inside, Infinix Note 3 Pro is powered by Mediatek 6753 Octa-Core Processor with Mali-T720 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB Internal storage. Initial boot up, you get 10GB usable storage and 2GB free ram. Has dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion. Note 3 Pro scored nearing 40k levels in Antutu as for games we had no problems playing Asphalt Xtreme while for NBA 2K16 you need to adjust some settings to medium or low to get decent game play.


We go to software, Note 3 Pro runs the latest XOS Chameleon v2.0.0. Navigation is a breeze and such an optimize system. Provides system management controls from permission, memory, storage and battery. Gesture controls is available such as tap to wake, flip mute as well as one-hand operations. Other nifty features includes Screen Record and Screen Casting to wireless display.
Fingerprint sensor is available for more personalize security. Has quick registry but you should setup it up properly with at least 360 degrees fingerprint setup. It has gyroscope sensor which should be able to support augmented reality and the use of VR. As for Audio, its speakers is load which should compliment the Note 3 PRO entertainment qualities.

Moving on to camera, we are impressed with its outputs of its 13MP Rear camera even at f/2.2 aperture. Produced quality photos with great focus and dynamic range even in low light or night but it needs a tad bit of saturation for color. Auto mode is reliable while if you need more creative control Manual Mode is available ISO up to 1600 Shutter Speed up to 10 sec for Long Exposure. Other Photography Modes is available like Night, Panorama and PIP. Supports 1080p Video Recording and can take photos while recording. EIS is present to keep things smooth and steady. Outputs from 5MP front camera is also better and with Selfie flash, taking photos against the light is posible. My only comment is that they should properly label manual camera settings. We won't are shooting at 2 secs shutter as there is no label.

Offers near complete connectivity from WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. This is a Dual Sim Handset with both sim slots supporting 4G LTE but you can only choose one to use as your default internet connection. USB-OTG is supported but XOS builtin file manager will not allow you to write on it. Installing ES Filemanager will of course solve this problem.

Last but not the least, Infinix Note 3 Pro is a heavy duty smartphone with its massive capacity 4500mAh battery. Full charge took about 2 and half hours but will last you a day or two of heavy to moderate usage of photography, games, data and social media.

We at Geekschicksten highly recommends Infinix Note 3 Pro for its entertainment qualities, balanced performance, photography capabilities and endurance. Alcatel Plus 10 2 in 1 Windows Tablet Laptop Hybrid with LTE Keyboard Price Specs Philippines

Alcatel launched 2 in 1 Tablet - Laptop Hybrid Plus 10 that comes with keyboard LTE Dock.

Tablet is quite on the slim side and is very light and comes in Black, White, Metallic Silver and Warm Grey Leather paint job. What I do like is that it is not picture frame-ish as it feature less bezel on the sides. Power and Volume rocker are on top (Tablet Landscape). On the right side of the tablet are the ports: 3.5mm jack, Micro HDMI, MicroUSB. At the back is a compartment for which you open to be able to access the MicroSD slot. On the bottom lies magnetic pins that attaches to keyboard dock.

Alcatel Plus 10 as the name suggest sports a 10 inch HD 1280 x 800 IPS Display with 10 Multi-Touch Points. Under the hood, it utilizes Intel Cherry Trail T3 Chipset supplemented with 2GB RAM and 32GB Flash Storage. Intel Atom series has gotten better through the years that runs a better Windows 10 experience and can even do some rendering via Movie Maker and Photoshop.

Tablet features WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Just basic camera features here with 2MP FF Front camera and 5MP FF Rear Camera that is just enough for casual shooting. Do make sure you have enough light source to get better images.

With the keyboard dock you are connected via 3G or 4G LTE. Yes it has a sim slot. You also get WiFi 802.11 A/C as well as may act as Portable Hotspot for 15 users. Really neat connectivity features here. Keyboard dock also gives you one full pledge USB port.

Alcatel Plus 10 carries a 5830mAh battery (tablet) that is quoted to run for up to 8 hours.
Carries 1 year of Microsoft 365 Office 365 for productivity needs. Keyboard Dock carries 2580 mAh battery.

Was really caught off guard by Alcatel by announcing this device, a Windows product at that… What’s next Windows Smartphone? Hmm gonna ask.

Overall I like how the Plus 10 is designed and how it works. Clean and simple yet symmetrical design that is portable and connected.

No release date yet but said to be price below 20,000 Pesos.

Cherry Watch N5 has just been recently announced via their Facebook page a while ago but apparently it is now available!

Cherry Watch N5 at first glance looks kinda like the Apple watch with its metal alloy body as well as presence of rotating crown. It sports a 1.54 inch IPS curved display and lets you carry up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It also features a Sim Slot well i guess for direct communication.

It offers Notifications of text message, emails, and among others while you're on the go. It also features Smart Dialer that lets you wirelessly control your smartphone and answer calls. It also has Anti Theft Feature and Pedometer.

If you feel like a secret agent you can capture via its VGA camera. Cherry Watch N5 also serves as a Multimedia Player to play you media files.

Battery is at 300mAh expect it to operate just half a day or a day of moderate use.
