“This is a first in the transport network vehicle services (TNVS) and transport network services (TNS) industry! This proves that OWTO is sincere in its efforts to uplift the condition of our driver partners and help them in their chosen profession,” says Gayod.
For IMS part, Josephine Almanzor says this is the first time they partnered with the transport sector. “We believe that the transport sector especially the drivers should be given importance in terms of healthcare because their job comes with dangers and hazardous driving conditions.”
Paolo Libertad, COO of OWTO opines that it is their goal to attract more drivers to use the platform and this is one way to generate interest on top of other incentives they are cooking up continuously.
To date, OWTO is the second leading TNVS in the market right after GRAB in terms of partner drivers and usage.Nice to see a company that cares for their partners and not just for profit. OWTO is on the right path and hopefully they will succeed in pursuit for Fair and Safe Ride for Filipinos.
