Look what we have here... Infinix joins in with their latest Selfie-Centric Phone, the Infinix S2 Pro!

Infinix S2 Pro comes in solid metallic construction housing a 5.2 inch HD 720p IPS protected iith 2.5D Curved Dragontrail Glass enhanced with Mediatek Miravision Tech. Not much has change with regards to internals as Infinix still made use of Mediatek MT 6753 Octa-Core Processor with Mali-T720P but it has acceptable amounts of memory at 3GB and storage of 32GB which should give you a decent android experience that can handle social media easy and even online games and low-medium settings heavy games. You have at lesss 1.7GB of Ram and more or less 27GB of free storage.

Infnix join in the selfie and "wefie" craze by providing Dual Front Cameras - 13MP Front Camera Standard Angle S5K3L8 Samsung at f2.2 and 8MP Wide with Omnivision 8856 at f2.4. Does take pretty decent shots even in low light and indoor. There is a distoriation though that makes you hand looks like a stretch out selfie stick lol. Front camera has LED flash if in case you really need that light support.

Its rear camera is also a 13MP S5K3L8 Samsung but with a bigger aperture at f/2.0. It focuses fast and color reproduction is good. I wished what algorythms they implemented for the rear camera they applied it to the front. Even with Straight out of the camera outputs, the Infinix S2 Pro gives beeter results even in low light conditions. Manual modes is available so you have full creative controls with ISO up to 1600, shutter speed to 6 seconds and Manual Focus.

Infinix S2 Pro runs on X OS Chameleon 2.1.0. Doees have Tap to wake functions and other gesture controls. For those need to adjust text, it does have accessibility feature to cater to your visual needs. For security, it does have Fingerprint sensor for personalized security.

This is a dual sim / dual standy handset with hybrid setup. Regular sets of connectivity is available like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS. Also support casting to external monitor via wireless connection. For direct, USB OTG is supported but you need a third party file manager to transfer from/to your usb drives or hard disk. LTE connectivity is present for ultra-fast internet on the go. Oh if wondering what are its sensors, it partly has near complete including gyroscope to support Augmented Reality Games and VR.

Carries a 3000mAh non-removable battery and supports Flash Charge. So you have less time clinging on to a wall socket and more usable smartphone time.

So far specs wise, it is a decent entry to midrange selfie phone and at 8,990 Pesos well surely it is bang for buck.

It is exclusively available with Lazada Philippines. Pre-Order has just started.
