Now Available: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 in the Philippines

The New and Improved Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 line is finally here in the Philippines! It is now being sold from the 7 inch, 8 inch, and 10 inch WiFi / 3G Model.

The 7 inch Galaxy Tab 3 Model sports a 7 inch TFT display at 600 x 1024 resolution which translate to 169 ppi  pixel density. It has Android Jellybean 4.1 on board powered by Marvell PXA869 Processor complimented with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The 10 inch Tab 3 is also TFT but with addition of Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is also the first Samsung device to use Intel Atom Z2560 clock. Don’t fret about the dual-core thing it trumps some of its quad-core competition. It also has 1GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Both the 7 inch and 10 inch are equipped with 3MP rear camera and 1.3MP front. Their Battery packs are at 4000 mAh for the 7 and 6800 mAh for the 10 incher.

The 8 incher Tab 3 in my opinion has tad better specs. It sports a Full HD 8 inch TFT display. The device runs Android Jellybean 4.2.2 on a 1.5GHz Dual Core Exynos Processor with a much more 1.5GB RAM and usual 16GB internal. It also has a better camera at 5MP rear snapper with 1.3MP front. Other techsites who reviewed the unit praise on its lightness at only 314g. Oh it only packs a 4450 mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, almost have the same – Wifi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3, USB (MHL and OTG functions), ports, and sensors. The 3G versions of the units at HSPA+ will surely provide a better data connectivity. You will also have the special features as the multi-view, kies and apps that really uniquely with the Samsung Brand.

Overall, the new iterations of the Galaxy Tab line offers the best experience at very competitive prices. WiFi only and 3G variants are now available and LTE version will soon follow in the coming months.
