Catalyst is a lifestyle accessories brand that creates products that enable people to explore and share their world. Founded by climbing partners Josh Wright and June Lai, who designed and developed their own protective cases after seeing that these were not available in the market then.
The brand launched on crowdfunding platform Kickstarter in 2011 and has since introduced the highest performance line of everyday cases, accessories, and sleeves featuring their own proprietary technology. It recently launched in the Philippines at Power Mac Center Power Plant Mall in Makati City.

Catalyst has a wide range of products including water resistant, dirt-proof, shockproof, and drop-proof cases for the iPhone 5/ 5S/ SE / 6S (3,690 Pesos) / 6S Plus (3,990 Pesos), iPad Mini 4 (4,590 Pesos), and iPad Pro 9.7” (5,990 Pesos). Made of premium quality materials including impact resistant polycarbonate, a soft-touch rubber bumper, silicone seals, and air- and water-tight acoustic membranes. These cases feature a transparent front and back which shows off the device’s sleek design.
100 percent tested IP-68 certifed to 16.4ft (5m) and meets or exceeds military grade for impacts or drops up to 6.6ft (2m). This makes the cases versatile enough to bring to any kind of adventure ─ be it snorkeling, mountain climbing, or even just everyday exposure to the elements.
Also launched is the first and only waterproof case for the Apple Watch. It features Catalyst-patented technology including a double-sealing waterproof system, true sound acoustic membranes, signature rotating digital crown, tactical side button, and an innovative silicone sealing wrap. Priced at 4,590.
Completing the lineup is the Catalyst floating lanyard that keeps the encased device afloat, thereby protecting it from getting lost in the bottom of the ocean. The lanyard comfortably fits any wrist size and has a bright orange color and reflective logo and strap that make it highly visible in open water. Priced for 1,095 Pesos.
