Cherry Mobile introduces Super Amoled Cosmo X-Series handsets. The Cosmo X at 4.7 inch and X2 at 4.8 inch would deliver bright and vibrant viewing pleasure enhanced with Gorilla Glass 2 technology-protecting your screen from scratch and impact. The Cosmo S and Z will sport a 5 inch HD IPS display protected by Dragontrail/Gorilla Glass 2.
The Cosmo Series runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean powered by Mediatek MT6589 at 1.5GHz Quad-Core Processor, PowerVR SGX544MP GPU, 1 GB RAM X-4GB / X2-16GB / S-16GB / Z-8GB internal Storage. Be WOW with the camera as they are equipped with a whooping 18MP BSI rear camera! as well as X,S,Z-8MP / X2-5MP front. HSPA+ will be the new standard for cellular data, with Cherry Mobile Cosmos it should provide high speed connection (network dependent). Other than that, it does have the usual stuff WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, dedicated earphone jack, and microUSB.
When it comes to their battery packs, X - 1800 mAh, X2 - 2200 mAh, S - 2500 mAh and Z - 2000 mAh. Well you take your pick it depends on your usage and preference.
Great hardware here... But with competition "special features" Cherry Mobile needs to step it up in the software department.Guess an answered prayer it seems that Cherry Mobile will be adopting Miracast Wireless Display and some "Smart features". Then again still no OTG???!!!
