Spotted via Automatic Center Flyer... Price for 533.29 for 24 months that equates to 12,799 Pesos SRP. Price is definitely it cons as it directly competes with Asus Zenfone 2 and the cheaper Alcatel Flash Plus. It major selling point is its premium built and AMOLED Display which I think the main reason why it is pricier.
Not yet available in the market. Guess after MyPhone Sale comes the newer units.
The Flash Plus is most bang for buck Phablet in the market for only 6,490 Pesos.
Alcatel Flash Plus is made of plastic but of the sturdy kind. Top side resides the headset jack. Found on the right side is the MicroSIM Slot 1 and MicroSD Card slot. Left side is the Sim Slot 2 also microSIM, Volume Rocker, and Power / Lock Button. On the Bottom is the MicroUSB port for data and charging.
Upfront is the HD Display at 5.5 inch IPS LCD that is strengthen with Dragontrail Glass with OGS Lamination. One the top side of the screen is Front Facing Camera, Speaker and Notification Light. On the bottom part is Capacitive Button but just silver reflective and does not light up. It's size is perfect for entertainment and for playing games. The Loud Speakers compliments the entertainment qualities of Flash Plus.
Powering the device is Mediatek new MT6752 64bit Octa-Core processor coupled with ample 2GB RAM and 16GB Internal storage that can be expandable via microSD. However it runs only 32bit Android KitKat, hopefully Alcatel could update it to Lollipop soon so it could really utilize the 64bit processor and improves considerably performance. Still Flash Plus is very responsive and is very fluid. For Geeks, here is Antutu bechmarks score for your reference...
With regards to its 13MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor with LED Flash and 8MP front camera, they produces quality images and focuses great on what your subject. Flash plus camera software feature Fix Me for manually configuring Exposure, Contrast, Brightness, White Balance and ISO. Picture in Picture is also available for taking shots from both cameras. For connectivity, you get the regulars like WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Faster internet connection via LTE and with Dual Sim you get to switch between networks just in case one does not deliver. USB OTG is supported.
Battery at 3500mAh lasted the day of moderate to heavy use but still has enough juice.
Alcatel Flash Plus is really great bang-for-buck Phablet with a very large HD Display, reliable up-to-date Chipset, LTE and Battery life that last the day and more. Alcatel shakes the ever competitive Philippine Market with competition from international and local brands trying to keep up. For 6,499, Alcatel Flash Plus proves that quality device is not just about price.
On a side note, my unit had problems with WiFi as my router was just on the side of Flash Plus but it registers low signal. Another problem I encountered is its Hotspot feature, some devices cannot detect Flash Plus. I have tried two smartphones, the older Lumia 925 connected to it while the newer CM Luxe can't even detect it. Same results for Laptops, the old MSI Wind Netbook detected Flash Plus but Asus Transformer T100 did not. This my reason why I returned my unit for replacement. So better check yours...

Was announced and featured during MWC, the Alpha Neon has finally appeared. Comes in colorful polycarbonate back housing that makes it pop and standout. On front is the display and capacitive touch buttons for navigation.
It sports a 5 inch 720p HD IPS Display with Scratch Resistance. Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Quad-Core Processor complimented with 1GB RAM and 8GB (not same as what was presented at MWC which was 4GB) Internal Storage that can be expandable via microSD.
In terms of connectivity, it has the standards like WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. HSPA+ / 3G serves as gateway connection to the internet.
The 8MP and 2MP takes decent shots. Here are samples:
Rear Camera
Front Camera
Pretty clear to me. Windows Phones are also capable of adjusting manual settings for camera which includes sensitivity, shutter speed, exposure value and white balance using apps like OneShot. You feel like a pro and get amazing results. It has LED Flash to give you light for low light conditions.
With 2000mAh Battery, Neon should last longer with basic phone operations or moderate usage. Windows Phones are power efficient after all even with Data On.
Runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS and comes with Office that lets you create and edit your documents on the go. Another uniquely Windows Phone is its location tracking as it tracks you even when your offline.
Spec wise it is similar to Cherry Mobile Alpha Luxe so performance is likely nearly the same. Priced for 3,999, the Alpha Neon is very capable and cute Windows Phone budget offering.

Let starts of with Midrange Magna, which comes with a gentle curved design similar to LG Flex but with 1/4 of curviture that houses the 5 inch 720p HD IPS display with In Cell Touch. It seems that Dual SIM 3G Variant is the one released as of present time so it means it is powered by Mediatek MT6482 Quad-Core Processor. A 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5MP front facing camera serves its optical features for taking photos, selfies, and videos. A 2540mAh battery should give you ample battery life.
Now moving on to budget level, we have the Leon with its basic 4.5 inch IPS Display with In Cell Touch technology but at a low FWVGA resolution. It is also powered by the same Mediatek Quad-Core Processor and Rear camera is 8MP similar to Magna. Front-facing camera is just a tad underwhelming at VGA. 1900 mAh battery is enough to power this device with its not so power hungry hardware.
Both runs on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop and will have the regular connectivity features as WiFi, Bluetooth GPS and HSPA+ / 3G Data Connectivity. As of the moment the 3G Dual-Sim variant is available for LG Magna and LG Leon. LTE variants are yet to be release.
