Coming in curved edges in metal brushed finish fitting for the Prime branding. It houses a 5.5 inch Full HD TFT Display wih 2.5D Curved glass.

Powered by Samsung own Exynos 7870 1.6 GHz Octa-Core Processor with Mali-T830MP2 couple with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Storage. You have at least 23GB free storage. With more memory, it was able to handle the pressure of multiple apps running in the background. Test unit of J7 Prime had NBA 2K17 on it and gameplay was good.

Runs the latest Android Marshmallow but we did notice that it has Samsung Cloud as well as Smartview (Miracast) which was missing for A5 2016 and A7 2016. Software is updated on this Samsung that's for sure. Microsoft Office Suite is great addition for productivity tools.

Brilliant optics with aperture f/1.9 for its 13MP Rear Camera supported with LED Flash and 8MP Front Camera. Samples:

As expected it has brilliant camera with big aperture size at f/1.9. Focus was good, although white balance need some work. Left Picture focuses on J7 Prime Display while the right side focuses on the background.

I did a selfie and hair strands shows how detailed even the front cam is. Wih f/1.9 aperture it is brighter than other smartphone in the market.

This is a Dual Sim smartphone and also features the regular set of wireless connectivity from WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It Supports USB-OTG for more direct connection to usb peripherals. Ultra-Fast LTE is available for on-the-go connection. There is a nifty feature when it comes to your data allocation, as Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has Ultra-Data Saving Mode to cut internet cost by compressing data.

Carries a 3300mAh Battery which should delivery better battery life with its modest specifications.

Overall, its metallic design is much appreciated than that of dual glass as for me it is much sturdier and less prone to breakage. J7 Prime has miracast that enables you to cast to an external display wirelessly which can't be found on A S2016 Series Samsung. Internal hardware is relatively new and has more memory which enables it to run and handle even heavy apps and games. It's worth considering even though it only has TFT display.
